Fundraising for The Fire Fighters Charity
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I would like to run for the Firefighters Charity to support the fantastic effort they do to help and protect the firefighters in need. I would like to participate in the London Marathon as it is one of the most difficult challenges to complete, however I want to complete it in full fire PPE which I have authority to do, also I want to make the challenge even harder by completing the whole Marathon wearing BA under air, I have spoke to management about this and they have said its a possibility but we would need to discuss logistics of getting cylinders to me when I need to change air.
I want to take on the hardest challenge possible and complete it in Full PPE and BA and push the boundaries out even further. I will confirm at a later date if it is possible to complete it in BA under air, but I will have a BA set on either way.
I need to raise £1900 (excluding Gift Aid) to keep the Charity Position in the Marathon. So I've set up a Just Giving Page with an ultimate goal of £3000 to ensure gift aid can be included and to try and raise as much as possible!
