Through thick and thin, the good and the bad, the Kirkwood made a difference to the lives of those who needed  it most. As GPs locally in Kirklees, Sharmala and I are well aware of the excellent care the Kirkwood has delivered over the years to the local community. We are also aware of the significant impact of the pandemic on the fundraising efforts by the Kirkwood and we felt this will be the right opportunity to offer our support towards the Kirkwood, hence incorporating   this  expedition towards a fundraiser charity  event. Personally for us both , this expedition  posed significant physical challenges but the positive mindset enabled  us to  complete  the challenge , towards  this good cause.
