Story
Hi, I’m Krissy. On the 11th Dec 2021 I have a haircut booked. However, this is no ordinary trip to the hairdressers. I have been growing my hair for a year and will be having 30cm cut and donated to charity to support the Little Princess Trust. This is a fantastic charity doing amazing work. The Little Princess Trust accepts human hair to make wigs for children diagnosed with cancer and other hair-loss conditions. I am so proud to be able to support them, and taking this step to give my own hair is nothing compared to how brave the children are through their fight against cancer.
My Story: in 2020 a friend and colleague was diagnosed with cancer. After battling through chemotherapy so graciously we had a catch up, and the first thing she said to me was, “I’m really sorry I don’t want to come on camera, I don’t have my hair piece yet”. It was gut-wrenching. I wanted to do something to help, and after running a few ideas around, together we decided that I would personally donate my own hair to the Little Princess Trust.
Special thanks to Kayleigh Daniels at Tony Adams Ilford for their support in cutting my hair for free in aid of my fundraising appeal.
I’d really appreciate your support with my fundraising and thank you for visiting my page.
