Story
I was playing with my niece, Jordan, a few months back and we started talking about her impending hair cut (a 7 inch chop) for the Little Princess Trust. Overnight, she had exceeded all expectations of how much she could raise through her JustGiving page. She was blown away with folks generosity so she upped her target. Weeks passed, the donations rolled in and by this point, fear had set in. She had raised more than she had ever dreamed of and now all that was left was the cut. Tears rolled down her cheeks as she revealed that she was terrified of cutting off her beautiful long locks. She's just eight years young.
I found myself easing her fears by uttering the words, 'Would it help if I cut mine too?'
Aaaahhhh.... so here I am. Chopping off a big chunk of my identity. The last time my hair was above my shoulders, I cannot remember. I can only imagine how much scarier it would be if I were a child and had no choice in the matter (of losing a whole head of hair). I hope that me and Jordan's donation of hair and money, can ease some of the pain in which children who are being treated for cancer face.
Sometimes, the trust cannot find a wig suitable for a child. In this case, when it is out with the donation of hair route, it costs £350 to source just one. I hope to raise enough to be able to provide one child with a wig.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and to (hopefully) sponsor me.
Jordan has made up her own page and can be found here ....

She has done an amazing job fundraising and I am so proud of her.
Thanks,
