Mourne Way Ultra Marathon 2011, 11 June 2011
Participants: Kris Beattie
We provide specialist care to children with life-limiting illness

Story

I haven't raised any money for charity since my first marathon back in 2005, so I thought it was about time to do something different and raise some cash for a good cause!

I have signed up to run the Mourne Way Ultra-Marathon (52mile/85km double marathon) on the 11th June.  This will be my first (and most likely last) ultra, so don't be tight and get the money out!

Here is some info about the charity...

"The NI Children's Hospice cares for children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, and supports their families and those close to them. These children have very complex needs often requiring 24 hour care and many will die before reaching adulthood."
