Story
The start of 2016, an unexpected little hurdle appeared; I was diagnosed with a pituitary tumour. Although thankfully a benign, happy little lump, it caused parts of me not to work so well & not much of a typical 25 year old woman! He is called Larry & with the assistance of medication he's now learning to behave & allowing me to feel a little more 'normal'. Before my diagnosis I had very little knowledge about pituitary tumours and the impact they can have, but with the help of the Pituitary Foundation charity, I was able to learn more about my condition and make contact with other girls that are in the same situation. Sharing stories & hearing of the positive outcomes people have experienced helped me to be nothing other than positive & I'm definitely jumping this little hurdle! So, now it's my turn to say thanks to the Pituitary Foundation & donate a little to support their service & also make awareness of pituitary conditions. So in July, me & some buddies will be doing a sponsored walk from Mildenhall to Bury St Edmunds via the Lark Vally Path route, which in total is around 15 miles.
