Story

This year we're taking part in a charity campaign called Armpits4August which raises money for Verity, the charity for people with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and challenges gendered assumptions regarding body hair.

PCOS affects ~10% of women and is the largest cause of infertility in women of child bearing age.

Verity is the leading charity raising money and awareness of PCOS in the UK. However, it only receives about £30,000 a year which, considering it affects so many people, is very little.

Most of you know that we're both full time hairies, and even though we want to be comfortable with this, body policing means it can often be a struggle. So if you’d like to support us, we would appreciate any donations you can give towards a wonderful and under-funded cause.
