My son Connor has been diagnosed with plagiocephaly also known as flathead syndrome.  He needs to be fitted with a special helmet to correct his head shape while he is still young & still has his soft spots.

Connor was born 5 weeks prematurely. He spent the first 2 weeks in an incubator on a special care ward, unable to feed and had jaundice and spent very little time awake. We believe this has been the cause of Connor's condition.

If left it could cause more problems later in life.  For example bulging on one side of his head, not being able to wear glasses as they wont sit correctly, unable to wear a bicycle helmet, & worst case it could affect the alignment of the jaw & teeth.  Also bullying when Connor starts school.

The NHS will not found the treatment as they say it is cosmetic, The helmet cost £1950, this is why we need to set up the fundraising, i would be very gratefull for your donations towards Connor's treatment. 

We have organised to do a sponsored walk around Cardiff Bay and i am going to hold a raffle in April.
