In April 2021 our Mum began to feel unwell and was quickly diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. The Cancer was grade 3 so timing was of the essence. 

With the Pandemic in full flow we needed as much support as possible to get Mum fixed. Without Ovarian Cancer Action I have no doubt that we would have struggled to get the support and expertise we received.

Because of the diagnosis she had a full hysterotomy and underwent an aggressive course of chemotherapy. This story ends well, as Mum is on the mend and is stronger, out of pain and feeling positive. 

The family want to thank Ovarian Cancer Action. My siblings and I have decided that it is the least we can do to help raise money for the charity so that another family will benefit.  Unfortunately due to injury neither my Bro or Sis are now running so I am on my own. I will, run, raise awareness and raise funds and do anything I can to support the charity like they've supported us.
