I'm running my first half marathon on 27th March 2011 (please note, no longer the Bath Half on the 6th March due to being held up by an injury). I'm doing it for The Christie - a specialist cancer hospital in Manchester. Those who know me will know that this is nothing short of a miracle. I'm the least sporty person I know - always the one to get picked last for PE at school! But I fancied a challenge so here goes!

 

Why The Christie? The Christie is one of only two hospitals in the UK where my Mum can get treated for the rare type of cancer she has. Its an amazing hospital, the doctors are world class, they have a fantastic cancer research centre, and the staff put so much love into everything they do.
