Story
Thanks for supporting my fundraising. I was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Tumour with primary on my pancreas and “in excess of 20 tumours” on my liver in 2010. I underwent operations to remove half my pancreas, my spleen, three liver resections and my gall bladder was removed. Still it came back. I then had 4 treatments of Lutetium, which cured the NET but has since caused myeloma diagnosed in 2017 after presenting with 2 compression fractures in my spine. For that I have had back to back stem cell transplants which lasted less than a year and have been on a series of chemo treatments since, which, although not pleasant, have kept me alive 😊.
100 km (60 miles) in a month walking the dogs may not seem too hard to achieve, but for someone who struggles climbing the stairs some days it is a bit of a challenge. Any support you can give to this charity and my challenge would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
