We provide support to improve the lives of young carers

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am a volunteer with Winchester Young Carers and get to see first hand what an enormous benefit the project brings to the lives of the Young Carers aged between 8 and 17 years old. The staff and volunteers are dedicated to giving the Young People much needed support and 'time out' from their caring roles and there is nothing more rewarding than seeing them enjoying themselves and having fun.

From regular Club evenings where the Young People can enjoy team games in the sports hall, crafts, pool, cooking or just relax, to days out and residential breaks. Staff also work with the Young People within their school/college environment to give them the opportunity to work through any concerns and issues they may be experiencing.

I am unashamedly appealing to you to dig deep and sponsor me in my most mad challenge.  Even if you can only spare a couple of pounds it will be most gratefully received and will directly support this very worthy local cause.  In addition, whatever I raise with be match funded by Basepoint so please do help.
