Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 12th March 2016, my family and I lost a very important member of our team. My beautiful mum lost her battle with cancer.
7 years ago, my mum got the worst news of her life. I can't even imagine how she has put on a brave face for the last 7 years. The impact she had on not only our lives, but other people's was truly incredible. She was a force to be reckoned with and for that amongst other amazing qualities, she will be remembered.
My mum was my hero, my bestfriend and the best mum I could have ever asked for. She inspired me to be the best person I could be.
Throughout her last few years, my mum managed to do so much. This awful disease didn't stop her from doing anything. She became a part of our community, made some amazing new friends as well as raising two girls and being an amazing wife to our Dad. I hope that Lara and I grow up to be half the person my mum was.
The Royal Marsden Hospital played an enormous part in my mum's treatments. They have been there since the start and have helped in every way they could. The amazing staff they have and the top notch care they provide is why we have chosen them to be our charity. So, on the 12th of June, me and my friends, Sarah, Zoe and Beth, will be running the colour run to not only raise money for The Royal Marsden but also to remember my mum and the truly phenomenal lady she was.
I love you Mum, I hope we all do you proud!
