Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Two years ago, my sister and I ran the Bournemouth half-marathon and succesfully raised over £1200 for NSPKU. At the time, our recently born niece, Rebekah, had been diagnosed with PKU and we wanted to raise money for the society who had provided so much support for our family as well as many others across the country. This year has brought the arrival of Rebekah's beautiful sister, Bethan, who has also been diagnosed with PKU. The NSPKU, who have continued to support Rebekah, are now playing an important role with Bethan and we have deemed them an extremely worthy cause for our next challenge.
Amy and I have registered for another half-marathon, this time in Torbay. But.... it won't just be us two this time! Our respective other halfs will be running with us, as well as our brother Andy.....Rebekah and Bethan's Daddy!
Our target last time was £1000 and everybody involved was incredibly grateful for all the support and generosity which enabled us to exceed that target. This year we'll aim for the same target of £1000 and if we exceed that target again then that will be fantastic!
