We fund research into type 1 diabetes to find a cure for type 1 diabetes

Story

On 10th June I will be doing an abseil from the Forth Rail Bridge - to help raise money for 2 special charities, both of which are very close to my heart....

Last year our young nephew, Euan Horsburgh was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at just 6 years old.  Anyone who has ever met Euan will know that he's completely sports mad!!! Although, his diagnosis has meant some major changes in his lifestyle - Euan has taken everything in his stride, proving a real inspiration to his whole family!

I am helping to raise funds for Juvenile Diabetes Reasearch Foundation (JDRF) - a charity committed to raising funds to find new ways to treat, prevent & ultimately cure Type 1 Diabetes...we hope that one day in the not too distant future, Euan will gain real benefits form their work.

I'm also raising funds for the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA)....please view the SSPCA page form more information.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now - I really appreciate your time, support and money!!

Lots of Love, Kim x
