Hey there,
I have a medical condition which happens to be Cystic Fibrosis (CF). CF is not known to most people as just over 10,000 people happen to have the disease, within the UK alone. It isn’t a pleasant condition to have, as it is life threatening and it requires a lot of hard work to manage. Some tasks are a struggle to do, that people without CF wouldn’t have a second thought about.
As I have the disease myself, I want to make a difference and try to inspire people, with and without cystic fibrosis and to show that anything is possible, as long as you put your mind to it.
I have completed two charity events in the past for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust - a skydive and an abseil down a football stadium.
But now, I will be taking on my third charity event by attempting to summit Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa. Depending on how successful this challenge goes, I will hopefully attempt the 7 summits as that is my long-term goal throughout my life.
For Kilimanjaro, me and my dad will be taking on this amazing challenge and our goal is to raise a minimum of £8,200 between us. This can be done; with your help! It would be great if YOU could kindly donate anything, big or small, it will make the world of difference and send us one step closer to Africa!
I won’t stop ‘till a cure is found.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
