Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
After doing a lot of walks around where I live during lockdown, I have noticed how much rubbish is being thrown by people driving by. Mostly bottles and cans. I have decided to set myself a challenge, collect 20 kilos' worth of cans in one month in the streets by going on daily walks. I estimate this to be about 1500 cans (I changed my target from 700 cans to 1500 on 20th March). Maybe it is a lot, I don't know but I am going to give this a go. It will help the local environment and my fitness at the same time. If you like the sound of this idea and want to sponsor me then please do. The money raised will go to my chosen charity helping street children in Congo called Kimbilio. This charity was started by my dear friend Ian Harvey. His latest challenge is to finish building a school to help educate the street children in Lubumbashi. If you would to know more then get in touch or look him up online. Again, if you like the sound of this charity and the work they do, then please sponsor me. Thank you 😊
