Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Team Hytek GB are supporting St Clare Hospice. St Clare Hospice is a local charity established in 1990 caring for the people of West Essex and the East Hertfordshire border affected by cancer or any life limiting illness or disease. The care offered is for patients, families and friends and is given totally free of charge in an individual way at a very difficult time in their lives. Patients receive care in a safe and comfortable enviroment with the respect and dignity they deserve.

In the summer of last year, Hytek lost a dear friend and well respected colleague, Peter Parker to cancer. Peter was a fun loving character who enjoyed life to the full, and is sorely missed by us all. In return for all the support provided to Peter and his family, we decided to take up a challange to give something back to St Clare's for all their hard work. Team Hytek GB were created and have decided to trek a 27 mile route in the Brecon Beacons within 12 hours this June. We all think Peter would have approved.
