Building upon our fundraising in 2016 where we were able to raise enough money to install additional boreholes in Malawi, each of which provisioned water for 3000 people. We are planning to continue fundraising for Khalsa Aid with the following events:
We are planning the following events / challenges
to raise money:
• Coventry Half Marathon – 19th March – Done http://results.sporthive.com/events/6232146178134247936/races/402732/bib/3315
• Skydive – 26th March http://www.goskydive.com/jump-options-prices/skydive-for-charity/
• Samosa Sale – May 2017
• Samosa and Cake Sale – Autumn 2017
• Samosa and Cake Sale – May 2018
The objective is to raise at least £2,500 to go towards funding a new Water Pump for a village in Malawi, providing the locals with clean and safe drinking water. We would appreciate any support that you can provide with any of the above activities and fundraising.
A little bit about this amazing charity: Khalsa Aid is a non-profit aid and relief organisation established in 1999. *In Lebanon they have been working closely with SAWA for Development & Aid to Syrian refugees providing food, medical and educational assistance.
*In Yemen they have been providing food to the public who are facing severe food shortages.
