On 3 October 2021, I’ll be running the London Marathon to raise money for Scope - a UK-based organisation that stands for equality for disabled people.

Scope’s mission is to achieve a society where disabled people enjoy equality and fairness everywhere - at home, at work, at school and in our communities. The organisation provides support, information and advice to more than a quarter of a million disabled individuals and their families every year and advocates on their behalf to ensure they can live their lives to the fullest. 

When 49% of disabled people say they feel excluded by society, we should work toward being more inclusive and showing compassion and thoughtfulness in our interactions with people of all backgrounds. Scope is helping us achieve this goal and that’s why I’ve chosen to support them.
