Defibrillators cost around £2000 each to purchase, but it also costs money to keep them in working order.

I am trying to raise £100 by training for and running a 6 mile race as fast as I can on Sunday 29th May this Year. The race starts and finishes in the Market place Newbury at 10AM and I am hoping to finish under 50 minutes. Well that's the plan. Got a job to run 2 miles before walking....

It's been 20 years since I ran a competitive race. I have also not run for at least 5 years!!!

So it will be a 20 week challenge just to get to the start. The fact I will be a 60 year old veteran has nothing to do with it.
