Story
I would just like to express gratitude towards everyone who donates! Because this is being publisised through Tourette Scotland, as well as through my own humble efforts, I will not get the opportunity to thank everyone personally! So, rest assured that if I could I would.
In a nutshell.
1) Tourette's Scotland do good work raising awareness of Tourette's and helping families impacted by it. I know a lot of parents (My own wonderful mother, Brenda, included) who have had to fight against abysmal resistance and ignorance from schools, GPs, and peers for their child's right to stay in mainstream education and recieve the start in life they deserve - watching her go through this was horrendous, and if I can do a tiny turn towards preventing it persisting I will be a very happy boy. Raising awareness and educating people on what TS is, and how to deal with it, will help remove these barriers; reducing the negative impact TS can have on a young life, as well as entire families!
Apologies for grammar, the text box is just too small to proof read. If you want to correct me it will cost you £5.
2) The 1/2 marathon details are available here http://greatscottishrun.com/TheEvent/AboutThehalfmarathon.aspx incase you want to try and spot me on TV or collaborate with the Scotsman's deputy news editor Mr. N in throwing things at me (anything but mushrooms or fish).
