The COPS 30 miler is a 30 mile, load-bearing yomp across rugged Northumberland countryside, with participants running alongside the Royal Marines. Those wishing to take part can register there interest https://cops30miler.org/.

Story

30 miles yomping across the Cheviots with all that weight on my back, what on earth was I thinking of?? It sounded great a few months ago but it’s now very close 🙈

There will be one person on my mind keeping me going throughout this challenge and that will be my friend and colleague Gav Smith who sadly passed away in 2017 shown on the profile picture. This was devastating for us all and reiterates why charities like this are so important.

Any help no matter how small will mean a lot.

From the bottom of my heart thank you to anyone who donates 🙏🙏

The COPS 30 miler is as close as it gets to the real thing and aims to raise significant funds for the Care of Police Survivors charity (COPS), along with the Royal Marines Charity. All proceeds are shared equally between the two charities. 2019 will be our fourth year, with successful editions being held during the summers of 2016 and 2017.
