Story
Tragically two of our boys each lost his father to a terminal illness. Milo Stampa Orwin lost his father, Jeremy, just before Christmas, and Charlie Peele lost his father, Nick, at the start of the New Year. As a House community we would like to dedicate this term to fundraising for two charities close to the hearts of these two boys and their familities. St David's Hospice provided Milo's father with palliative care at home, which enabled him to have more freedom, and allowed for greater peace of mind for his family as a consequence. The money we raise will go directly to the care of others in need, and will help to provide emotional support for many families over the coming years. The Cure Parkinson's Trust is the charity of choice for Charlie and his family due to the friendship, support, expert information and advice which they received over the course of Nick's condition. Charlie's personal dream is to find a cure, and The Cure Parkinson's Trust funds groundbreaking research that helps to get closer to one, every day.
School House Strictly will involve 8 boys, partnered by girls from Sherborne Girls School, who will have dance lessons throughout this term in order to then compete in a School House Strictly show on Tuesday 20th March.
