Fundraising for Friends of Alchemy World

Story

1 Month left until the April 22nd and the London Marathon and my gruelling training regime comes to an end!!!

I'm trying to raise money for an amazing charity, Alchemy World. Alchemy World works with young people in Ethiopia to help alleviate their poverty by equipping them with the skills and entrepreneurial initiatives to get the jobs that do exist and to start their own businesses.

This programme aims to empower people so they can escape dependency and change their circumstances through their own efforts. http://www.alchemyworld.org/

I have a personal connection to this charity as family and friends have contributed towards the delivery of these aims, spending time in Ethiopia working with young people to help them to achieve goals and ambitions.

I have no target for my fundraising and will appreciate anything you can offer. However, remember it is 26.2 miles!

Alchemy World works to eradicate poverty in the developing world, with special focus in ethiopia and East Africa. It does so by empowering extremely poor young men and women to set up their won business and employ other people from their community. Alchemy World is also actively involved in changing the culture of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), and providing other forms of community support including medical care, fair trade, water and sanitation and food aid/nutrition.
