Story
Thanks for visiting our fundraising page for Team Olly.
Olly is 11. He is a lovely young man who has been a classmate of my daughter Eva since they were tots. Just after the Great North Run last year Olly was diagnosed with a brain tumour for which he has bravely undergone extensive treatment.
In September a bunch of us will take part in the Great North Run. My daughters Eva & Anya will run the Junior and Mini GNRs too. All in support of Team Olly.
Team Olly aim to raise money for the Great North Children's Hospital where at present there is a contrast between the facilities available for younger children and the more modern teenage unit.
All money raised will be used to improve life for kids aged 9-13 and their parents at the RVI Children’s Cancer wards and within Radiotherapy at the Freeman.
Anything you can donate will be gratefully received,
Thank you - Kerry, Eva & Anya x
We are raising money for the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Charity (reg.no 1057213) and two of its charitable funds, the Great North Children's Hospital Foundation, ward 4/14 based at the Royal Victoria Infirmary and Charlie Bear for Cancer Care which supports the Northern Centre for Cancer Care at Freeman Hospital.
