Signing up for the Virgin London Marathon 2011 has provided a brilliant opportunity for me to fulfill a childhood dream whilst supporting a very worthy cause.  Beating Bowel Cancer is a charity that raises awareness and offers support for patients and families whose lives have been struck by bowel cancer. Bowel cancer is the 2nd biggest cancer killer in the UK so awareness and early diagnosis are paramount.  I am running for Anna, a friend and inspiration, and my very dear Granny who's sadly no longer with us.

The marathon is this coming Sunday.  Wish me luck.
