Welcome to my Just Giving page.

I am running the Watford 10k again this year. I can honestly say that completing it last year was one of the hardest things I've ever done. I'm not a runner, far from it, but I'm a determined so and so and once a challenge is set, nothing will get in my way! 

I'd like to say I carried on running after completing last years run and that this year will be a walk in the park but this isn't the case... So once again I've started from the beginning and am slowly but surely getting myself ready for what will be a real challenge once again!

I've decided to run this year in memory of an amazing lady, Marie Turpie.

On 15th February 2014 Marie suddenly and unexpectedly passed away leaving everyone that knew her broken hearted.

Marie's positive outlook on life and loving nature can teach us all so much. She doted on her family and friends and always thought of and cared for others. She has left a huge void in many peoples lives that will never be replaced.
