The thing that made me ‘just do it’ and sign up was out of the blue. I was at an event last Friday and one of the delegates came and put some money in our BGBS bucket and told me that his daughter was a patient in GOSH for seven (yes, 7) years. He said she would not be here today without them……. It really sank in and made me want to help. So if my swim helps one child for just one hour, as opposed to seven years, then I will have achieved something really worthwhile!
