Ian Andrews is raising money for The Royal British Legion
In memory of Kenneth James Andrews
The RBL are the UK's leading charity providing financial, social and emotional support to millions who have served and are currently serving in the British Armed Forces and their dependents.

Story

We are fundraising for the Royal British Legion in memory of Kenneth James Andrews. He served in Burma with the Durham Light Infantry as a Staff Sergeant during the Second World War.

Ken died this month after a short battle with Covid-19 aged 94 years old. He was a ‘perfect gentleman’ to his final day and  always enjoyed talking about his memories as a soldier. He leaves behind three children, five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren so far.

He wished to support the Royal British Legion in the event of his passing. Please offer your donations in memory of Ken to this charity that was close to his heart.
