Story
Hello my lovely friends and family! Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As some of you may know already, I have put myself forward to do the 2010 British 10K London run (it seemed like a good idea at the time!). My main two reasons for taking part were to firstly support the wonderful charity I work for, and secondly to get myself in shape!
The charity name is The Westminster Society for People with Learning Disabilities, and you can find more information on what the charity is all about by visiting www.wspld.org.uk
The money I hope to raise with your help, will go towards an important and worthy project called 'Family Activity Trips.' The aim is to provide family focussed fun activity days for children with disabilities, their siblings and their parents together with additional support provided by three skilled, caring and experienced workers. Trips will include Lego Land, Chessington Park, Kew Gardens and the Snow Dome and many more!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please please please dig deep and donate what you can now before you forget!! Your donations will help keep me motivated with my training (or lack of at the moment) and will most definitely go a long way to helping deliver services and activities for children, youth and families.
The run is taking place on Sunday 11th July 2010 start time 9.35am. If you happen to be in London at that time, then you're all welcome to come along as your support would be greatly appreciated :-)
So please start donating and help me reach and hopefully exceed my fundraising target. Don't make me beg :-(
Hope to see you soon,
Lots of love
Kelly
