Story
A few weeks ago our daughter Ruby who is 7 years old asked if children could donate their hair to make wigs. I told her they can.
She has chosen to have her hair beautiful blonde hair cut short and to donate it to the little princess charity. http://www.littleprincesses.org.uk/
She would like children to be able to have a wig made of real hair if they loose their hair as she saw me loose mine during chemo. Mats mom Nanny Sue has also chosen to take the brave step and have her long hair cut to pixie cut length too in support of this. Her hair will also be donated. They will be having this done on the 2nd February 2018.
We are so proud of them both for doing this so we have chosen to do some fundraising for this wonderful children’s charity as well as donating their hair so please give what you can. Every little helps make a difference.
Almost 4,000 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer every year in the UK. That’s ten every day. Children with Cancer UK is the leading national children’s charity dedicated to the fight against childhood cancer. We fund life-saving research into the causes, prevention and treatment of childhood cancer and we work to protect young lives through essential welfare programmes.
