Story
For the last 18 months we have all struggled through this strange pandemic, most of us in more ways than just having to stay home.
Charities have been hit one of the hardest. They've not been able to fundraise, but it's also been much more than that. The vital care & support they all provide to families has all been put on hold.
Marie Curie, but specifically the centre in Liverpool, has been important to our family for several years now. They gave invaluable care to my Nana in her final weeks, and since then we've tried to support them to continue to say thanks. My mum was volunteering at their day centre before Covid hit, which sadly means some of the people who used to attend will no longer be with us. Over the years I've fundraised for Marie Curie, but this time I'm fundraising specifically for our amazing hospice in Liverpool.
Back in 2019 we took on the challenge of the Three Yorkshire Peaks. In September 2021 it's time to take on the Brecon Beacons!
50km/31 miles. Several peaks. Hopefully some sunshine and not too much rain!
Every penny would be greatly appreciated and make an amazing difference to hospice once they are allowed to reopen to help more people again.
