Story
My name is Kelly Gorman, I am 21 years old , am a keen rider currently working for KBIS Equine Insurance.
Outside of work I show Mountain and Moorland ponies for both my mother and other people. I also ride out during the week for Stan Moore in Lambourn.
My father is a ex national hunt jockey and is now head lad at Richard Hannons, following in his foot steps I pony raced up until the age of 16 and also completed a charity race in 2007. After a while off from riding due to injury I was keen to get back in the saddle so jumped at the opportunity to ride in the race at Newbury in July.
I am hoping to raise £3000 to help this very worthy and local charity. Any donations would be greatly appreciated along with your support and encouragement on the 5 at Newbury race course, at the evening meeting.
I will keep you updated with how my training and preparation is going between now and July the 5th.
