Please help me raise as much money as possible for this amazing charity. Yorkshire Cancer Research do fantastic work and it is such a worthwhile cause. Everyone knows someone who has been affected by Cancer, whether that is a family member, close friends or having been affected by the disease personally. Words fail to describe the trauma that the disease causes, so anyway possible we can work together to try and reduce this trauma and therefore the number of people affected by it is so worthwhile.

I decided to undertake the Great North Run after seeing my oldest friend Hannah Harford take part a couple of years ago, and with turning 30 this year I decided to make it a year to remember! -  and in an even better way by raising lots of money in the process!!! Mad, crazy, stupid  - Yes I am all of those things but it will definitely be worth it if I reach my fundraising target. We are doing the run together, so we will be able to spur each other on (dragging each other round if necessary!).

This will be a personal challenge as running is not something I normally do so I havent made this easy for myself. But if it was easy that would be boring! I don't have a time target, just a desire to complete the event, hopefully having run the whole distance.

Being a Yorkshire lass I really appreciate any donation that you can make as it all goes to such a worthwhile cause, enabling them to help continue the fight against Cancer in our area.
