Story

As many people know the rates of eating disorders is on the rise due to the covid pandemic and the prevalence of social media “norms”.

I began my recovery from anorexia in 2020 after being given weeks to live. Beat provided me with so many resources and seeing how other people were recovering from this deadly illness made me want to be one of those people.

Anorexia is a horrible mental illness which can sometimes lead to fatalities! We need to help those in need as the waiting lists currently are extortionate with some individuals waiting over a year just to be referred for the help they need!

In order to reduce fatalities and provide individuals with helpful resources as a caring voice to listen we need to ensure charities like best can keep going!

And that’s where you come in! We are hosting our own coffee and a cake morning which will be filled with raffles, sweet treats and prizes to win! ALL MONEY RAISED WILL GO TO BEAT AND WILL HOPEFULLY HELP SAVE SOME PEOPLE FROM THIS AWFULL MENTAL ILLNESS!

If you cannot make the charity event, we have send up a just giving page in which you can donate ♥️ We will also be giving you the opportunity to be involved in the raffle on my Facebook page in case you cannot make it!
