As some of you will be aware, my motivation for raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust lies in my love for my beautiful niece Lauren. 

I have self funded the wing walk so all money raised will go straight to the Trust.  The Trust put their funds into research for medical advances to not only prolong life, but to give people with CF a chance of a life of quality and the ability to live a normal life.

I chose (yes, chose!) to do a wing walk after much thought. I wanted to do an activity that is truly a challenge for me. Lauren has to face challenges on a daily basis and is often forced to be brave and face things that frighten her. I wanted my challenge to reflect this. 

Truly, this will be a challenge for me as I am terrified of heights and never feel safe in light aircraft! As I have gotten older I have become more of a wimp and will be deserving of a fine cocktail or two if I survive this adventure. 

The challenge will take place in Yorkshire on 8th August (2 days before my big 40 birthday) at 3pm and is a full on air show display, big dips and so on! Anyone who wants to watch will be more than welcome as I'm sure I will put on quite a show!
