Befrienders Highland is a small charity who support people that are lonely and isolated across the far north of Scotland. Each friendship costs about £1000 annually, allowing for training, supervision and support of volunteers, and ongoing monitoring of matches by our wonderful team of coordinators.

2023 will be Befrienders Highland's 30th anniversary and we want to raise £30,000 to support 30 more supported friendships for vulnerable and isolated people. That's 30 for 30 for 30. My target is to raise one of those thousands, and I'm very grateful for your support.

My 30 (for 30 for 30) will be three 10k running events:

2nd October 2022, the River Ness 10k (part of the Loch Ness Marathon Festival of Running)

15th October 2022, the Dramathon (actually about 11k, run between distilleries in Speyside)

7th January 2023, the Loch Morlich 10k (even longer at 11.5k, in the Cairngorms National Park)
