In memory of John Eadie
Cubo take on various fundraising activities to raise vital funds for Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy

Story

In memory of my good friend & work colleague John Eadie who was taken from us far too soon in November last year😢 Sadly leaving behind a wonderful wife and daughter (Pamela and Liv). At Christmas, I decided to speak to Pam about my intent to honour John’s memory in the New Year. Not long after, I was asked if I wanted to complete the West Highland Way in August with a group of friends. I thought this was the perfect opportunity and even more so after talking to Pamela and finding out that Milngavie (where the West Highland Way starts) was where herself and John stayed for 8 years. It just felt like fate 🥰 We also decided that this charity was a great fit for John who was very passionate about music and aware of the amazing work done by Nordoff Robbins. I understand these are difficult times and charity is probably last on your priority list but I really just want to make sure this amazingly loving family man is remembered how he deserves to be. (Maybe one or 2 whiskys on the way)

Nordoff and Robbins is the UK’s largest music therapy charity, with a unique approach shaped by more than 60 years of practice. Through the power of music, it breaks through the barriers caused by life-limiting illness, disability and social isolation. The charity does this through providing music therapy to people across the UK, whilst also training the music therapists of the future and funding research to measure and improve the impact of its work.
