Hi all, I've entered a race which takes place on the 14th of November in the Egyptian Sahara desert. Its called "The Trans 555" and is the worlds longest non stop desert ultra marathon at 555km (345 miles) The competitors are guided by wrist mounted gps which guide them to tents every 22km. In these tents are food and water supplies. The slowest competitors have a 6 day cut off time so they must do nearly 60 miles at least a day. I wasn't going to raise money for charity as I've done it in the past and know I've been a pain asking for sponsorship money for previous events. Quite alot of people asked me though if they could sponsor me so thought I would just do a simple Just Giving page. I'm raising money for Lincolnshire Air Ambulance who saved the lives of both Vicki and my brother Thomas many years ago. You can see more detailed information at the web address below.
