We support people struggling with loss to come to terms with their grief
Story
On May 2nd 2020 myself and a group of friends will be taking part in born survivor which is a 10k assault course. We have decided to take on this challenge in memory of Bob Karling who sadly lost his life to mental health in August 2017. This is an illness that takes the lives of 12 men each day. That is 1 man every 2 hours. By losing the people close to us, this horrible illness affects everybody who knows them and it is something that will always be in our minds. The Dove service has been instrumental in supporting family and friends who get left behind in particular Alison's son Ryan (Bobs grandson) through this difficult time and we would like to show our appreciation by raising much needed funds for this valuable service. We know Bob would be very grateful. I have personally taken this challenge very seriously and have had a couple of lifestyle changes that I aren’t used to because I want to do by best not only to take part but to compete in this event. I have a very modest target to raise and I’m sure with the help of everyone that knows me I can smash this target so please dig deep there is no amount too small or large. You can donate through the page or if you prefer I have sponsorship forms both at home and at work. Thank you.
