<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>This was a silly idea that (like most silly ideas) started over a drink in a pub in 2011. &nbsp;For various reasons (work mainly, and being a bit of a chicken) I decided not to do the cycle in 2011. &nbsp;With another birthday came the realisation that it isn't going to get any easier as I get older, so I've paid up the deposit. &nbsp;My uncle (yes, he's 54 and fitter than I am) is going to be cycling with me to.</p> <p>I thought it would be a great excuse to raise some money for Cancer Research UK. &nbsp;We will be paying for the whole trip ourselves so all donation proceeds will go to this fantastic charity.</p> <p>The whole trip is around 1,000 miles and we will be doing it over 14 continuous days of cycling. &nbsp;Each day we will cycle between 65 and 100 miles.</p>
