Story
Hi Everyone! I'm delighted to say WE DID IT!!!
7 l-o-n-g hours, 20 l-o-n-g miles but finally crossed the finish line elated and exhausted! Thanks to everyone who took part - my walking buddies Daughn, Kim, Mary and Gerry; Val and Terri who helped us through the last 5 miles (torture!) and Deborah for driving the support car carrying the cold champagne!
But most of all - my heartfelt THANKS to everyone whose kind donations helped us to raise over £1000! We are overwhelmed by your generosity and it certainly kept us going throughout the day!
Rest in Peace dear Kay - your memory will live with us forever xxx
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This page is in memory of my sister in law, Kay Lee, who lost her brave battle with Breast Cancer on 23rd Jan 2012, aged 52.
She was such a lively lady who had everything to live for and she leaves behind a devastated family including her husband Eric and their two beautiful children, Kristopher and Sophie.
I'm walking with a group of friends along part of the Thames Path, an area Kay knew and loved, in fact, only this time last year we did the same walk together! She was a brave lady and I will be thinking of her during the walk and hope she will give me the strength and energy to complete it!
