So...I have decided to run the WOLF run. Kill me now. For some reason I thought this was a good idea, but for those of you who know me (or even if you've just had a fleeting glance...) will know that it probably isn't. I've never been very good at long distance running, cross country running or even just running for the bus. BUT in order to raise money for a great charity that will hopefully one day be able to help stop people going through what my Dad and therefore my whole family has been through, I really do think its worth a go.

Its 10km (thats right - 10K!) of off road, muddy running, wading through lakes, climbing obstacles and scrambling to a finish line. If I manage to do this, which I fully intend to, the money I raise will go to funding research to develop drugs for and support families living and loving those who suffer from this horrible degenerative disease.

As most of you know, in the last year my Dad has gone pretty downhill. He has gone from walking me down the aisle last June to having to use a wheelchair - however his spirits remain high - and he clearly thinks I'm a little unhinged for attempting this! It is just my hope that one day, with the help of the MS society, if maybe not a cure, then at least a way to slow the effects down can be found.
