Hi All

I am organising this event to raise money for Alzheimers as my granddad has developed Dementia and i would like to raise what money i can to help support those that provide help for those with Alzhemiers/Dementia.

I have watched my granddad deteriorate over the last 3 years rapidly from riding his bike daily, to picking elder flowers and grapes to make wine, watching the television and playing chess on his pc to not being able to do any of the things he loves and not having a clue of what is reality.  He doesn't even recognise me anymore which breaks my heart; but every now and then i see a glimmer that he remembers me which brings me happiness.

More and more people are being diagnosed with Alzheimer's every year and they say 1 in 3 may develop this so i feel the necessary support from fundraising is really important.

If you can donate something it would be greatly appreciated and i know if my granddad had his mind he would be proud of me :)
