Story

I love Africa! Africa gave me a lot of love and showed me precious teachings. I believe in its people, love their power, their smile and generosity even in difficult and hostile situations.

I met the amazing and charismatic M2M team four years ago and I believed in the scheme they were setting up and in their cause: the empowerment of mothers to end paediatric Aids.

I cycled in 2014 from Swaziland to Johannesburg for Mothers2Mothers, saw the sites, met the mentor mothers, listened to touching, powerful and tragic stories, made new friends and got everyday more more inspired by the outstanding work of the charity. They don't only help mothers, they make them independent, powerful, increase their self esteem and help them to raise healthy and happy children!

This cycling adventure is for all the children, courageous mothers and  for Reggie. I never met Reggie, but I met the people that looked after him until the end, fighting prejudice and loneliness. Two great examples in my life.

A huge thank you to all the supporters

(This time I get proper cycling gear and some strategic padding)
