Story
Katie and Richard will be trecking 17 miles through the Peak District in just 12 hours, all in aid of suporting Small Steps Project.
Small Steps project is a humanitarian organisation and registered charity. They are dedicated to supporting children living on rubbish dumps around the world and raising awareness of the unacceptable hardship faced by them.
Money raised will directly benefits the lives of the children and communities that really need it by providing emergency aid, food, water and shoes. They then provide support for children to take steps into education and adults into employment.
No child should have to grow up uneducated, digging through others waste to survive. We in the west can be held accountable for much of that waste and although indirectly, we do influence these childrens' lives. It's time we started to make amends.
We both feel this is an incredibly worthwhile cause and any amount of donation would be extremely appreciated. Please visit our team page and you'll see our team fundraising target on the right. Your donation can really help us smash this goal.
