Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Last summer my family was shocked when my lovely Aunty Maggie (whom I affectionately call Mag Rat) was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. It was about this time that I had taken up running to shed a few pounds, and I decided that raising money for charity was just the focus I needed to keep going.
Breast Cancer Care is such a wonderful charity organisation which helped over 1.7 million people last year. I hope you will dig deep and give generously. Knowing I have your support will help to keep me going and I know Mag Rat will be happy to know something good has come out of such a horrible disease.
More recently, my Dad was diagnosed with secondary Liver Cancer - I am keeping up with the training and hoping that in the furture I may be able to make it through a full marathon to raise some money in his honour also.
Cancer is so limited...
