We are fighting to make a world where diabetes does no harm

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As most of you already know Ade and I are attempting to walk from Trafalgar Square in London to John Frost Square in Newport. The distance covered will be just over 140 miles, starting on Saturday 27th March and finishing on Friday 2nd April. If anybody would like join us on any part of the walk, it's more the merrier and please get in touch.

We are raising money for Diabetes UK as Ade, his brother Richard and dad Bob all have the condition. We would like to give something back to an organisation that plays such an important role in terms of research and development of condition control. It should also be remembered that Diabetes is the fastest growing condition in young people and accounts for over 50% of NHS spending.

Please donate what you can, all monies are gratefully received!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks in advance,

Katie and Ade
