Story

Katie has been Ten Pin Bowling at Rotherman Superbowl since she was a little girl with her Dad Steve, who sadly passed away a few years ago but I promised him when I started supporting Katie that I'd get her to The Olympics one day ! So this is a fundraiser to help get Katie and her Teammates to live their dream and for Katie to honour her Dad's memory 💙 and make her family even prouder of her than they are. The  doctors said when she was a baby, she'd never walk or talk and as someone said to me ,she doesn't, she runs and never shuts up lol 🤣 well with the help of you guys we can make more dreams for people with learning disabilities come true so please please donate, money is tight for everyone at the moment but a lot of spare change mounts up and thankyou ❤️

Katie bowls every week, with her friends, family, support workers and for the past few years her Teammates who practice hard on Sundays at Rotherman Superbowl in Kimberworth! They all love playing as a team (even though sometimes Katie doesn't quite understand there's no i in TEAM lol 🤣 They have worked really hard to play in tournaments across the UK and Katie and fellow Teammate Danny have been chosen along with two others from the whole of the UK, to represent Great Britain at The Special Olympics World Summer Games 2023, taking place in Berlin, will see thousands of Athletes compete in 26 summer sports. It will bring together people from across the world to celebrate and promote recognition and inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities. With your support, we can help ensure that a selected team of Special Olympics GB athletes attend the World Games. For many this will be the pinnacle of their sporting careers and a life-changing opportunity that will offer people with intellectual disabilities the chance to showcase their sporting abilities at an international level. The funds raised will help to enable over 100 athletes and over 40 coaches and volunteers to attend the event, contributing towards their travel, kit and training in the lead up.Thank you for your generosity and support as we head towards the Special Olympics World Summer Games 2023.

Please please help towards supporting Katie and the Special Olympics Team of Great Britain, we can't seem to win a World Cup but let's bring back some medals 🥇🥈🥉 from Germany next year 👍
